HPH 2400 Job Example – Tuban, Bali, Indonesia (2005)
Main contractor Antara Koh successfully bid to install over 12,000 tonnes of Corus SW-1A and Arcelor AS-500, 24m long straight web piles. The contract involved the installation of circular cell cofferdams as part of a power station development in Tuban.
Our Singapore based agent Dawson Engineering supplied the hammers, they knew the HPH2400 would offer unrivalled production rates and unmatched power to weight ratio for the long reach areas. The ability to fully adjust the impact energy proved essential in successfully controlling the drive of the 24m sheets. The slender design of the hammer allowed it to fit between pairs, offering excellent versatility. The 80 blows per minute of full energy was transferred to the pile via a full coverage spreader plate ensuring fast driving whilst keeping the pile head in top condition.
