Last Friday, Mahir and Trevor headed down south to visit two key sites: first to Hayling Island, where a completed cap is in place, then on to Tipner, where Blanchard Wells are still hard at work.
It’s always rewarding to see a project evolve — from an initial enquiry, through detailed drawings from our engineering team, to now seeing the cap over halfway complete.
📐 Here’s a look at the original drawing from our in-house engineering team that helped bring this cap to life. (Tipner)

3. Hayling Island – Completed Cap
✅ First stop: Hayling Island
A completed cap in place — great to see the finish and quality up close.

4. Tipner Site Visit – Blanchard Wells
@Blanchard Wells are doing a fantastic job forming the pile cap on a 500m AZ46-700 sheet pile wall, with cap dimensions ranging from 961mm to 750mm.
📏 They’re moving at a rapid 9 metres every three days, and their feedback was incredibly positive:
“The system is incredibly straightforward – and it saves us a lot of time.”
Big thanks to the team on-site for their hard work and collaboration.
